It’s another grey day outside my windows. As I drove my daughter to school this morning, I looked to the sky and saw a break in the clouds where blue was peeking through. I was reminded of the times I flown through the clouds to be met with sunny, clear skies.

It’s been a rough year for so many people. Sadness, frustration and a looming sense of worry seem to hang like a thick, dark cloud. Racism, sexual assault, the threat of war, terrorism, and gun violence fill the daily news cycle. As if those issues aren’t consuming enough, many are faced with financial worries and broken families with the holiday season just days away.
